Charles E. Barlow was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He served in the United States Army and Army Reserve for over 23 years as a military policemen and infantrymen. He also received advanced training in Special Forces Operations and counter insurgency.
Upon discharge from military services, Charles worked in various law enforcement sectors including positions as a police officer, firefighter, state correctional lieutenant and state parole agent prior to his retirement. During his career, Charles has received numerous commendations for his performance as a California peace officer including the agent of the year award.

Education and Educator
Charles has a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in criminal justice and a master's degree in sociology with a specialization in criminology.
Charles Barlow is a certified expert in criminal investigation and has over 25 years full time work experience in criminal investigation. He is also a graduate of the Los Angeles Police Department Detective School
Lastly, Charles is an adjunct professor of sociology and criminal justice. He currently teaches in the Los Angeles County area. Charles has taught criminal justice and sociology classes to thousands of students over the past decade.
